Hi!
I am Ilaria Canova Calori
Orgasmic Birth® Practitioner, Doula-in-the-Making, Womb Hara massage practitioner and Yoga teacher.
Supporting women in re-connecting with their sensations, vitality, and presence in birth, before and beyond.
Becoming a mother to my three boys has been a spiritual awakening—a journey that has transformed every part of me. After one of my births, I faced a challenging postpartum period that left me feeling depleted and disconnected.
That experience ignited a deep desire to support other mothers through this vulnerable transition.
During my doula training, I discovered how profoundly pregnancy and birth shape the postpartum experience. I realized that birth isn’t just a physical event—it’s a gateway to transformation, healing, and empowerment. This understanding led me to Orgasmic Birth®: a philosophy and practice that honors birth as a deeply embodied, sensual, and liberating experience.
I grew up in a culture that prized sacrifice and efficiency. As a new mother, I believed multitasking was my superpower—until exhaustion and burnout forced me to pause. In that stillness, I discovered the radical power of rest, softness, and delight. I learned that life—and birth—doesn’t have to be hard. It can be joyful, connected, and deeply nourishing.
I accompany women in reconnecting with their bodies, rediscovering pleasure in the smallest moments, and reclaiming their innate wisdom. Whether you’re preparing for birth or navigating life before or after it, I’m here to walk beside you—with compassion, care, and reverence for your unique journey.
I offer doula support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, in Trondheim region. Get in touch to discuss possibilities for remote support.
I am also offering Womb Hara massage, a massage for the abdomen, lower back, and reproductive organs. It helps bring balance, release tension and energy blocks in these areas, awakening vitality, creativity and energy.
I am here if you want to work with me.
With love,
Ila

As Ina May Gaskin writes, “Body and mind are one. You affect your baby’s mind by how you handle her body.”
In the same loving and compassionate way, you can handle your body too.
This truth is what guides my work.
